OVERVIEW
I completed the Fashion Product Design program at Accademia del Lusso in Rome, developing a solid foundation in design, arment construction, pattern making, and visual research. My role was to explore ideas and translate them into structured, contemporary projects, working from initial concept and research through to design development and final execution.
DEVELOPMENT
Through visual research and reference gathering, I developed moodboards and initial concepts, exploring textures, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes. This phase combined hand-drawn sketches and digital illustrations, allowing me to translate inspiration into structured design ideas that defined the overall aesthetic of each project
PROCESS
I developed technical drawings, patterns, and prototypes, applying both pattern making and garment construction skills throughout the process. I am confident in sewing both by hand and with a sewing machine, using different construction techniques, fabric manipulation, and finishing details to ensure that each piece was technically refined and aligned with the original design vision.
OUTCOME
This academic path gave me a structured vision of the creative process and the technical skills needed to develop a garment from concept to prototype. Accademia del Lusso shaped my creative identity and gave me the tools to approach fashion with intention and clarity. It provided a solid foundation for my work in contemporary fashion projects, while strengthening my ability to develop ideas into refined and cohesive outcomes.
